New hospital infuses metro area with life

Dozens of stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and pharmacies have sprung up around the new Metro Health hospital in Wyoming, driving property values up and bringing a booming economy to the area.

According to excerpts from the story:

But when the offer reached a little more than $1 million, she sold it and moved out in early August. A Walgreens drugstore soon will replace the house, just across the street from a new CVS drugstore, which is next to a new strip mall of 28 stores and restaurants and a stone's throw from the new Starbucks, all spurred by the Metro Health hospital due to open Sept. 30 in what a few years ago was a cornfield.
