MSU zeroing in on site for $70 million med school

The answer to the $70 million question of where a new four-year Michigan State University medical school will be located in Grand Rapids could come next week, when the university's board of trustees meets.

MSU President Lou Anna Simon said Wednesday the board will take action that will "narrow" sites for the $70 million building.

The medical school "will have a very visible presence in a striking building on a street you'll all recognize," she said.
