Ten years of hard work and an investment of $500,000 dollars to improve public access to the mouth of the Muskegon River culminates with the construction of a raised boardwalk over a quarter of a mile long. The boardwalk will connect to Muskegon's Lakeshore Trail as part of the Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve.
