GR photographer wins Biodiversity Project's Great Lakes Forever contest

Building on the recent push to create awareness of the environmental and economic viability of the Great Lakes, one Grand Rapids photographer’s image of a West Michigan lighthouse will promote the Great Lakes in an unusual location—on beer coasters.

GRAND RAPIDS -- People visiting the Great Lakes may notice the work of Grand Rapids photographer Steven Huyser-Honig on beer coasters in nearby bars and restaurants.

Huyser-Honig, 52, is the grand prize winner in the professional division for a photo contest sponsored by Chicago-based Biodiversity Project's Great Lakes Forever and St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc.
