committee overseeing the three submitted proposals for developing 16 acres of
downtown Grand Rapids riverfront property decided to seek other developers, while
allowing the current developers to go forward.
The
Riverfront Development Committee said it does not have enough information from
the current developers to make a decision on which one would be best.
That
decision was based upon questions of interest, vision, experience and the
capacity to finance the project. The committee found too many incomplete or
inadequate answers from the submitted proposals.
