According to excerpts from the story:
More than 140 students could be moving in next door to The Rapid Central Station next summer under a plan by two West Michigan developers.
The influx would come as a result of a $3.5 million renovation project, dubbed Hopson Flats, for empty buildings at 212 and 216 Grandville Ave. SW.
The project is expected to include 40 two- and four-bedroom apartments with monthly rent from $400 to $600 per bed.
John Green, of Elevation Group, and Doug Gulker, of Fusion Properties, bought the buildings to meet what they believe is an unmet need for quality student housing downtown.
