Financing for the sale of three commercial properties in metro Grand Rapids, Mich., have been finalized recently to the tune of about $51.6 million all together. The properties include a major office building in downtown Grand Rapids, a medical office complex in nearby Holland, Mich., and an industrial/office facility.
The deals were a mark of improving health on the part of the commercial real estate market in western Michigan, which is anchored by Grand Rapids, Michigan’s second-largest city. According to Grubb & Ellis-Paramount, there has been steady improvement in the west Michigan office market thus far in 2006.
