RapidBlog: Restaurant Week at FireRock Grille

It is that time of year; Restaurant Week is here. It is time for diners to experience the best that Grand Rapids has to offer.  Restaurant Week is a great chance for local restaurants to impress new customers. FireRock Grille definitely brought some great dishes to the table that are sure to excite diners. FireRock Grille has participated in Restaurant Week from the beginning and is excited to partake again.

"Restaurant Week is an incredible opportunity for local restaurants to showcase what they do," says FireRock Grille's Executive Chef John Taylor. "We thrive to leave a lasting impression with those who join us and entice them to come join us again."

FireRock Grille has several options that focus on Michigan products. The Michigan Great Lakes Perch is absolutely amazing. Dusted in FireRock Grille’s house seasoning and fried to a golden, crisp perfection. It is served with French fries, and homemade Cole slaw and tartar sauce.

Want to experience how FireRock Grille got its name? Order the Bistro Steak off of the Restaurant Week menu and get ready to see the sizzling steak come your way. The locally butchered, Bistro Steak is served on a 500-degree volcanic stone. Enjoy watching your steak sizzle to perfection. It is served with caramelized onions and truffle French fries, and is sure to taste as good as it looks.

Ready for dessert? How about the Lemon Chiffon Pie? Sweet lemon pie topped with a blueberry lavender compote.  FireRock Grille's blueberries are fresh from Grand Haven Michigan and are the perfect topping for the sweet, creamy Lemon Pie.

"We take food seriously all year round, but Restaurant Week gives us a chance to go above and beyond," said Taylor. "Our menu ranges from sandwiches to entrees, but each item that leaves our kitchen is held to the same standard."

FireRock Grille thrives to give each guest more than just a great meal, but a dining experience that ensures that they will want to come back.

Along with the Restaurant Week menu, FireRock Grille has a full bar with great specialty drinks. Make sure to pair a glass of wine or Woodford reserve bourbon with your meal for the full effect, or pair FireRock Grille’s competitor in the cocktail competition, "It's Just Peachy." This specialty drink takes Woodford Reserve Bourbon, bourbon-infused peaches and simple syrup to create a smooth bourbon drink that is sweet and satisfying. See you at FireRock Grille!
