Clips Beer & Film: The Big 5th Year Tour Stops Again in GR

Friday, June 27, 8:30 - 11:30 p.m.
If you missed the New Belgium Brewing Company's Clips Beer & Film party in Ah-Nab-Awen Park the last time it was here, all you need to know is that New Belgium curates an eclectic collection of 20 short films for every attention span and interest while keeping a focus on the hipster guidebook of what is cool (in a good way).

This year, expect an adrenalin-filled collection of really enjoyable films focused on sports, makers of all sizes and flavors, and babes of all gender (and degrees of iconic facial hair) as you get to sample not only New Belgiums' best but their rarest brews, including their Yuzu Berlinerweiss, Wild Dubbel, FOCOllaboration IPA, Summer Helles, Snapshot Wheat, Gruit, Gratzer, Coconut Curry Hefewiezen, La Folie, Ranger IPA, 1554, Trippel, Abbey, Blue Paddle, Shift, Rampant Imperial IPA, and of course, Fat Tire.

These beers will be available in 3-ounce samples or a 12-ounce pour.

And for food? They even provide access to delicious local food via street vendors, area restaurants, and food trucks.

Since its inception, Clips has diverted 85 percent of event waste from landfills, and partners with local organizations in each city to keep the events clean and green. Even better, the money raised will benefit the local Greater Grand Rapids Bicycle Coalition. Since its inception in 2010, Clips Beer & Film Tour has raised nearly $370,000 for nonprofits nationwide.

So come join us on the river, have a laugh, and make some new friends as we show an out-of-towner, New Belgium, how Grand Rapids parties at a beer event.

Admission:  Free to attend but to sample the beers or to reserve a very special "blanket seating" option, these prices are posted on the Clips event page.
