LAMB: On The GRAM

Every year, Lamb, a popular shop in the Uptown neighborhood, ventures out on the town and presents a fashion show heavy on style, but never losing sight of who their clients are in West Michigan.

For this special event, not only have they shifted their location to a new venue, the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM), but they are also partnering with Goodwill and their boutique-styled resale shop, blue, for a fashion show that mixes the new with the re-new.

“We really wanted to elevate our show this time,” says Lamb’s Ryan Lambay. “With this time around, we wanted to include recycled pieces from Goodwill with a nice collection of current new trends/fashion from Lamb.”

Lamb has long been a place known not only for mixing lifestyle with fashion, but also for their nod to the past and future in their merchandise. This setting of a stately museum space, also known for a similar approach to their exhibitions, makes this a perfect match, no matter the season it was created

The fashion menu will include a look at color block trends as well as an ode to Alexander McQueen, a designer who was well ahead of his time.

And instead of a steep entry fee to attend this visually rich affair, just bring two gently used pieces of clothing to donate to Goodwill.

Admission: two articles of used clothing gets you in.
