While others are dashing to get those last minute gifts, those who have been good at pacing themselves are in for a real treat this Christmas Eve. Founders, one of downtown's most popular destinations, welcomes Michigan’s Earthwork Music label artist Mark Lavengood for a special music showcase with friends joining him on stage.
Lavengood is a Grand Rapids native with international touring cred and a body of work to back it up.
Described best as an multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, Lavengood is an emeritus member of Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys and known for his stage energy that is hard to ignore when he is playing.
On Friday local community radio station WYCE welcomes Mark Lavengood, as well as musician Kaitlin Rose, to the
Local Spins In Studio program. The live broadcast begins at 11 a.m. on 88.1 FM.
