[TITLE OF BAND] : Free, Radical, Local Mutation Appears

Saturday, July 20, 9 p.m.
It is rare that you get to witness a popular stage musical inspire a gala, and then see this same spirit reunite with a few members of the musical to create something really fun in concert.

Fans of [title of show], the musical cult sensation that swept the East Coast theatre scene (and then the world), will be delighted to see our very own Ellie Frances and Jolene Frankey (both co-stars in the [tos] production at Actors' Theatre) reunited at the SpeakEZ Lounge.

By merging Frankey's band, Sex & Coffee, with Frances' band, The Polka Dots, the two friends will present a special night of harmony.

"In honor of the Actors' show and our combination of musicians, our [TITLE OF BAND] will be a lively night of rock and pop songs," says Frances. "We challenged ourselves by making sure the other never left stage, so the majority of the songs are completely sung in two-part harmony with only a couple of songs that feel more like solos with vocal support by the other."

Frances and Frankey promise this concert event is more than a super set of greatest hits from their solo projects. To avoid the swing and jazz trap, they have added songs by Styx, Michael Jackson, Sara Bareilles, and Adele, as well as some challenging vocal works by Fiona Apple and Cyndi Lauper -- because these girls just want to have fun.

The best part of this show is that there is no cover. But if you want to get a seat near the stage, you'd better call in a reservation now. I am not kidding -- with this much talent on stage, it will be standing room only.
