West Michigan's Wolverine Worldwide and Triple Quest provide Dominican Republic with clean water

Rockford's Wolverine Worldwide partnered with Safe Water Team and Good Samaritan Hospital of La Romana, Dominican Republic to provide HydrAid water filters manufactured by Cascade's Triple Quest. 

According to excerpts from MLive:

Wolverine Worldwide, an international footwear maker based in Rockford, has two manufacturing facilities and warehouses in the Dominican Republic. The company teamed up with Good Samaritan Hospital to provide the filters in a region inhabited primarily by sugar cutters and their families.

“When we first arrived in the area, a long line of families formed to sign up for the filters,” said Julie Townsend Zahm, corporate social responsibility analyst for Wolverine Worldwide.
