Grand Rapids hearing held regarding adding LGBT protections to Michigan's civil rights law

A hearing held in Grand Rapids this week asked for testitmony on both sides of the issue of whether Michigan should include LGBT language in its civil rights laws.

According to an excerpt from the article:

“They’re asking citizens to come forward and say how either having (a local) anti-discrimination policy that protects LGBT individuals, or not having an anti-discrimination policy that affects LGBT individuals, personally affects them,” said Patti Caudill, the city's diversity and inclusion manager.
