Local entrepreneurs create online reindeer community

Timing is everything. Two area entrepreneurs hope that they have an idea that will enthrall holiday enthusiasts and make a little money at the same time.

According to excerpts from the Holland Sentinel:

You've heard of Donner and Blitzen.

But the most famous reindeer of all may soon be a couple of no-name local farm animals, thanks to ReindeerCAM.com.

The website and video this week began streaming live from the North Pole, located suspiciously close to -- don't tell the kiddies -- Caledonia. The two reindeer, a male and female, featured on the webcam don't yet have names.

"We want to put that up to the public," said Adam Loveless, one of entrepreneurs responsible for the website. "The premise is that Santa's had too many nice kids on his list this year, so he's going to need more manpower -- or reindeer-power, shall we say -- for his sleigh."
