Will Payne wanted to help his father get rid of some excess wardrobe, so he offered his fraternity a variety of high-end business clothing at a discount price. His idea now sees 53 percent of the proceeds donated to a select charity on the buyer/donor’s behalf.

Dyer-Ives Foundation

The Dyer-Ives Foundation helps nonprofit organizations find the other entities that can best fund them with grants and resources.

Green Grocer Garden

The Green Grocer Garden is a fully-maintained garden, run by Jenny Bongiorno and OurFreshLocal, sustaining organic crops grown from seed, where “shoppers” trade the produce aisle for rows of vegetables and herbs they pick themselves. The Green Grocer Garden provides its shoppers with the same organic produce found at a supermarket at non-organic prices. Membership in the garden is free and works on a pay-as-you-go system.

Moms in Tow

Moms In Tow holds a thorough list of activities and events for mothers and their children to take part in. Run by Jenny White and her team, the organization gets support from local businesses who offer special discounts to MiT members.
